Being With Horses Clinic

Join us with Carla Preiss and Emily Anderson at Carolina Morning Stables for a soulful weekend of deepening your connection with horses — no dominance, no formulas, just presence, curiosity, and trust. In this clinic you'll be introduced to the core principles of the Being With Horses philosophy.

April 10 - 12, 2026

You’ll learn:

  • To read the subtle language of equine emotion and what your horse is saying and feeling

  • To refine your energetic presence and body language

  • To build safety and trust through connection rather than control

  • How trauma impacts horses & how to support them in reconnecting to their natural dignity, power, and curiosity

Whether you're new to this path or ready to go deeper, this clinic will invite you into a more intuitive, reciprocal way of being — with horses and yourself.

What is a Flying Change?

Known as a flying lead change, it is a high level move in horsemanship when a horse, mid-flight changes their lead leg in the canter or lope from right to left, or vice versa.  It requires a great deal of balance and equilibrium, openness to a new way of moving, willingness to suspend an old pattern and pick up a new one while continuing to move forward, a quiet mind, an open heart, and faith in one's own ability.
