In this class you'll explore the synergy of breath and movement to calm your nervous system, release tension, and reconnect with your body's innat wisdom.  Gentle grounding practices flow into somatic movement, preparing you for a powerful breathowrk journey that helps dissolve blocks, restore balance, ad leave you feeling lighter and more alive. 

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is the intentional practice of using specific breathing patterns to calm the mind, release tension, and shift your emotional or energetic state.

What is Somatic Movement?

Somatic movement is gentle, mindful movement that helps you tune into your body's sensations, release stored tension, and retrain patterns held in the nervous system.

With more than 30 years of experience with yoga and breathwork, I know the impact movement and breath can have on your life.  Over the past few years I have also begun to incorporate the neuroscience of how we create and hold patterns in our bodies and our behaviors into my yoga teaching and personal practice.  I've discovered for myself that these patterns of holding and behavior are often linked, and we can learn to release them.  When we do, we find more freedom in movement and spirit.
